A filter screen will pop-up like the one below.

Click the arrow in the first drop down box. (See Below)

Click the field you want to filter the coins by. (See Below)

Click the arrow in the second drop down box. (See Below)

Click the operator you want to filter the coins by.
> means greater than, < means less than, = means equal to,
>= means greater than and equal too, <= means less than and
equal too. We chose > greater than. (See Below)

Now type in the varible. make sure to put a ' before
and after the varible. The varible will be something
in the selected field. (See Below, Also read the help
file. The line below reads like this. Description greater
than 1950

At this point you can click the Apply button or add to
the filter by clicking the And check box as shown below.

After clicking the And check box fill in the lower row
of boxes the same way the top row was filled in. The
filter string now reads Description greater than 1950
and less than and equal too 2004. (See picture below)

The filter screen above will filter the database to
show all coins from 1951 to 2004. Now click the
Apply button as in the picture below.
